The European Convention on Human Rights is an international treaty and a basis for the European Court of Human Right’s decision-making. We have an in-depth understanding of the jurisprudence of this Court (especially as it pertains to the right to privacy and freedom of expression) and we are experts in preparing quality complaints. As a rule, individuals need to first exhaust domestic remedies before they are able to turn to the European Court.

Read more on the procedures before the ECtHR (in particular when you can file a complaint, how the procedure looks like, how much it costs, etc.) here.

The Court has made also a short film with instructions how to lodge a complaint properly.
